Our Hockey IQ Camp is coming this February — and we’re delighted to be joined by guest coach Ryan Aldridge, bringing top-level insight, experience, and high standards to the ice.
Two mornings of intense, game-based training designed to sharpen awareness, decision-making, and tactical understanding.
Camp, open to all ages and clubs ( as long as EIH registered)
This camp will also have designated Goalie training Led by Swindon Wildcats Netminder Renny Marr.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The Hockey IQ Camp is a two-day, on-ice development camp focused on the mental side of the game - helping players read play faster, make better decisions under pressure, and understand game situations more effectively.
Players will take part in high-tempo, game-based sessions designed to replicate real match scenarios. The camp will be led by the SWIHA coaching team, with guest coach Ryan Aldridge joining the programme to deliver elite-level insight, detail, and standards.
What players can expect:
• Situational awareness training
• Reading opponents’ body language and tendencies
• Offensive and defensive positioning & spacing
• Breakout and forecheck patterns
• Decision-making under pressure
• Anticipation and timing drills
• Small-area games designed to improve tactical thinking
All players will be placed into groups based on capability and size to ensure a safe, challenging, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Open to all ages and clubs.
6 hours total ice time across the two days.
